Rugged Protection, Dee Zee Quality

Made from heavy gauge Brite-Tread Aluminum, our Side Bed Caps are rugged yet stylish and compliment many other Dee Zee accessories. You’ll appreciate the custom fit that contours to the bed edges and wraps the rear corners of the bed for maximum protection.

Unfortunately we do not ship internationally from our site. There are distributors that do. One that I can think of to check with is Keystone Automotive.
AdminDeeZee2 –
No longer have them available for a 78 F150.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Installation is included and will use bolts and nuts.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not have any bed caps to fit a step side bed.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We have some applications available in a gloss black finish. Enter year, make, and model to check for your vehicle.
AdminDeeZee2 –
It depends on year, make, and model of the vehicle. We may or may not have a part number to fit.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We base our fitment by what the manufacturer lists the bed length 5.5′, 6.5′, or 8′.
AdminDeeZee2 –
If the truck had a plastic bed cap when the vehicle was built, our caps are designed to fit over the top of those.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Unfortunately we do not have a part number in the black for a 2000 F250.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The standard bed does not work on the GM trucks. We do not have one that will work on the dually beds.
AdminDeeZee2 –
When cutting holes into the black bed caps the coating will be compromised. Especially when cutting a large whole for the stake pockets. Could result in the paint beginning to peel.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We have not clear coated our Brite-Tread bed caps for several years. Plain aluminum.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not have any bedcaps for the current model F350.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do offer some applications in the Black Tread finish for bedcaps.
AdminDeeZee2 –
For RAM and Ford applications standard bed and dually work. GM dually beds are different from standard and will not fit.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Most of the automakers describe their bed lengths as 5.5′, 6.5′, and 8″. Even though the beds measure longer.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We don’t have stainless bedcaps any longer. DZ31967 wold be 8′ becaps for a Ram.
AdminDeeZee2 –
At this time there are not any plans for this application.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The bed caps are on backorder. Should not affect placing an order.
AdminDeeZee2 –
3M double sided adhesive tape.
AdminDeeZee2 –
I would ship them back and get the correct ones. There may be a little difference in the rail that just cutting them may not work and fit properly.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Unfortunately the only option we have is the Brite Tread with holes. Part number is DZ21993.
AdminDeeZee2 –
A majority of current model trucks have plastic side and tailgate caps on them from the factory. If the model of truck is supposed to have this our caps will not fit properly without it.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Black side caps are in gloss finish only.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not have bed caps for a 2016. 2013 is the last model year that we have fitment for.
AdminDeeZee2 –
No. The step side beds are not the same as a fleet side.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Do not have them any longer for that year of truck.
AdminDeeZee2 –
It depends on the vehicle. It is getting more difficult to manufacture both since almost all trucks come with the plastic and the shapes are causing issues.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We no longer have the smooth finish available. It would have to be the brite tread as a replacement. Warranty on finish is one year.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Sorry that we don’t have them for your new SD. With all new trucks coming with the factory plastic, the market for our aluminum ones has been disappearing. The demand for this type of product all around is slowly going away.
AdminDeeZee2 –
DZ21990 or DZ21989 will work. First number is without holes second has holes.
AdminDeeZee2 –
At this time there are not any plans for them to be made.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Unfortunately it is only available in the silver finish as part number DZ5243.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Unfortunately we don’t have an part number in the black finish for that year make model any longer.
AdminDeeZee2 –
No. The fitment will not be tight without the factory cap. They are designed to fit over the factory.
AdminDeeZee2 –
At this time there no plans to make a set for the 5’7″ bed.
AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –
Yes. Without stake pockets cut out is DZ11990 and with stake pockets cut is DZ11992.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Trucks that come with the factory plastic caps have to be on the truck for our bedcaps to fit properly. If the vehicle is old enough it will not have them and our caps would fit normally. At the upper part of our site where the search bar is you will find a Dealers button that will take you to our Dealer locator which can then enter your zip code and radius to find someone in your area.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Yes. There is no difference from dual to single rear wheel on the beds.
