A Beefy Step for Today’s Massive Trucks
Trucks these days keep getting bigger and bigger. Whether you use your monster for work or play, the 6“ UltraBlack Tube Step design gives you a rugged step for climbing in and out of your beast.
Constructed of heavy-duty steel with an oval design our UltraBlack Tube Step features molded plastic end caps and step pads at each door to keep your feet planted securely to the step when entering and exiting the vehicle. The rugged step pads are embossed with the Dee Zee name and provide a stylish non-slip surface.
Protected by textured black NRT™
Let’s face it, as strong as steel is, it’s also is susceptible to rust and corrosion. Our UltraBlack Tube step is protected by a textured black NRT™ (No Rust Technology) powder coat, a finish specially developed to increase corrosion protection.

Unfortunately if there is a DEF tank on the truck the brackets will not work.

You can find the shape of the bracket by looking at the installation instructions for the specific vehicle the steps are going on. When entering year, make, and model will give a price. DZ16101 are $207.95 but this steps only and does not include brackets.

Sorry for the information the supplier gave you. All of the 6″ boards do not come with bracket kits. They are sold separately. We are currently out of stock in our warehouse with replenishment next week.
AdminDeeZee2 –
It depends on the application. GM vehicles are frame and Ford/Ram are body.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The factory running board brackets will not convert to work on our 6″ running boards.
AdminDeeZee2 –
As long there is no damage to any of the brackets mounting would be the same.
AdminDeeZee2 –
I am not sure which distance you are asking about for sure. The approximate distance from the bottom edge of the truck to step is +/-3 1/2″
AdminDeeZee2 –
The bracket kit for the six inch steps will be out after the first of the year.
